Rotor Simulator RS10
The simulator rotor RS10 is able to reproduce in the laboratory and observe many of the dynamic phenomena characteristic of the rotating machines by means of the relief of the vibration signals.
The RS10 is designed to allow the simulation of the operating conditions of a rotating machine (scheme, start-up, cost down) and the relief of the parameters of vibration, by means of proximity probes, with instrumentation of the same type present on industrial machinery. The simulator rotor RS10 is completely integrated and does not require connection and fittings.
Rotor
The rotor of the simulator RS10 is constituted by a shaft and two discs mounted on it in position “between bearings”. To simulate the behavior of rotating masses cantilevered, it is possible (optional) assembling of a third disc in position hoverhung. The third disc is included in the kit of the components of the simulator rotor and is mounted on the appropriate end of the shaft opposite the coupling. The discs keyed on the rotor of the simulator, can be moved axially and are provided with a puncture on the outer circumference. The drilling allows the mounting of grub screws in order to simulate the presence of masses of unbalance or balance weights on the rotor.
Control instruments and protections
The instrumentation that equips the simulator rotor RS10 allows to manage the experiences of simulation in a complete and secure way. The simulator rotor is equipped with a control system that manages the steps of starting and stopping and allows the operator full control of the operating parameters, in both automatic and manual mode, using a special digital panel interface. The design and implementation of the simulator RS10 was carried out using engineering and in accordance with the latest technical standards and safety. RS10 contemplates inside both of logical security devices that mechanical protection.
Signals relief
The simulator rotor RS10 is prepared for connecting with the devices of relief and vibration analysis, FFT analyzers and oscilloscopes, by which it will be possible to the data acquisition and processing of the plot.
Vibration sensors and key-Phasor and conditioning modules
The simulator rotor is equipped with: 4 proximity probes, 1 probe key Phasor; these probes of vibration are located in correspondence of the supports of the simulator-side coupling (DE) and the opposite side coupling (NDE). The conditioning of the vibration signals from the proximity probes is carried out through appropriate conditioning modules housed inside the control panel.
